I wish to become a member of the Geelong Music Teachers’ Association. I will support the purposes of this association which are:
a) to encourage the development of music students by providing opportunities for performance, masterclasses and scholarships;
b) to encourage maintenance of standards of music teaching in the Geelong regional area;
c) to promote the exchange of ideas and professional development of music teachers; and,
d) to provide a forum for discussion relating to the professional conditions of music teaching.

Select the category to which you wish to belong. A fully accredited member is 18 years of age or more; this member has satisfied the GMTA that he/she has completed a tertiary music course of study or has outstanding teaching experience. An accredited member is 18 years of age or more; this member has completed a reasonably high level of music study (e.g: AMEB Grade 8 to A.Mus.A or equivalent); this member has considerable teaching experience. A friend member is any retired GMTA teacher OR any interested person who agrees to support the purposes of the GMTA.
